When we find ourselves in the valleys of life in pain, we must always look upward toward Jesus and take His promises to turn all for good. He'll never forsake us and He'll return us to peace once again.
Never Grovel 4/20/08

In the valley so low,
I know which way to go,
It's upward and onward,
With the Jesus I know.

To Him I must travel,
This pain to unravel,
Stand up on my two feet,
And never to grovel.

His promise I will take,
For Him to me remake,
All my trials into goodness,
And He'll never forsake.

I'll watch wide with wonder,
As I simply ponder,
How He's able to make
My fear to flee yonder.

Then in peace I'll remain,
Though so hard to explain,
How my Lord, Jesus Christ,
Shows me not to complain,

But to leave all to Him,
All my tears and my sin,
And how He completely,
To my soul reigns within.
