TITLE: Grandmother's Christmas Cards

This is just a short memory of a wonderful person. It was not meant to be anything more than just fun.
My grandmother had a wonderful way with Christmas cards, they decorated house and tree. After the holidays, all the cards she received were reused or remodeled. They were filed away in a picture filebox for the next season to serve as gift tags or to be reused as Christmas or other seasonal cards. By bonding waxed paper to colored kleenex she would create writing cards which were then packaged in packs of 10 or 12 and given as gifts. She would make plain ones in pastels or pose a scene cut from used Christmas cards or wrapping paper inside the card before the bonding process. I did not have a clue of the pictures origin until one year she suggested we make stationary and brought out her picture file describing who had sent her this or that card. Her memory was fantastic, so was her energy level and creative genius. You can probably tell I thought a lot of my grandmother Jones. So did a lot of people from the number of Christmas cards that came every year.
