This is a poem a wrote when I lost my home and most of my things in a hurricane. But thank God the most important things were not lost. My families life. And I tried my best to convey my feelings.
In the midst of destruction. In the hour of desperation, sadness, need, helplessness, despair and hardship. A tiny little thing sparks hope. As simple as two hawks, mates for life flying by.

In the midst of destruction. In the hour of desperation and sadness. A tiny little thing sparks hope. As simple as a kind word or hug.

In the midst of destruction. In the hour of need and helplessness. A tiny little thing sparks hope. As simple as a good friend.

In the midst of destruction. In the hour of despair and hardship. A tiny little thing sparks hope. As simple as a friendly smile.
In the midst of destruction. In the hour of desperation, sadness, need, helplessness, despair and hardship. A tiny little thing sparks hope. As simple as an answered prayer.
