Second chances don't just come new every morning, but with every moment with God. I turn things over then take them back over and over throughout the day, but I can always come back to Him.
Second Chance 6/14/08 (Revised 7/23/08)

I want to live in obedience
To Your holy, sacred will.
Each day I have a second chance,
My own fleshly ways to still.

I come to You with sincere heart,
To ask Your heavenly blessing,
And ask You to help me do my part,
Not to just keep obsessing.

I give it all over to You,
Promise myself to leave it there,
Then I make my plans to do,
With those things no more to care.

When I find myself taking it back,
I do not condemn myself.
I turn it over, get back on track,
To keep from the Evil One's stealth.

I do not live in a perfect world,
And naturally, I am not,
But with God's staying power unfurled,
I can keep from Satan being caught.
