In the darkest hours we have only to wait on the Lord, trusting, because He has proven that He can be depended upon.
In the Night

Just when the night seems darkest
I will turn to You in faith,
Turn my face toward heaven,
For the promises You say.

I will not let the Evil One
My own hope to defeat,
Or let me be condemned,
But place my trust in You complete.

To believe or not in You,
Is a matter of my will,
And even in the valleys,
My fears You calm and still.

I let You do this thing for me
Because You have proved so true,
And blessed me in the sunshine,
When the skies were all so blue.

So now in the night I wait,
For the storm clouds to pass on through,
Because I know within my heart
I can surely depend on You.
