Honest criticism is the best medicine for writer euphoria. Keeps him sane, too.
I watched a lot of
reality shows on my
big TV lately,

and wondered if the
popcorns I am munching now
really comes with
real cheese

or artificial flavorings
to tickle my mouth
and fool my brain

so I looked at the label
and cast a sleepy eye
on something called
Yellow number 5 and

is it cheese number 23
or channel number 45

I dipped my fingers
and found the remote among
the daily papers on my wastebasket-

I'll take a nap.
These things aren't better than being asleep.
