Lost. Found. Lost Again.
Where can I go to hide my face
from Your ever loving eyes?
For You've moved mountains, opened seas
and silenced many a leper's cries.
Where would I be without You?
Your love, Your joy, and peace-
Your brutal self sacrifice
for my sinful soul's release?
Lost, found, then lost again-
drowning in an ending world's
lies and self indulgent sins.
I NEED Your hands
I'm desperate for Your face
I'm looking for pulleys or ropes-
SOME-thing to pull, or take me out of this place.
Because I'm so much more than confused,
and in these frantic times
I figure I have nothing more else I can lose.
And Your word is hard to understand
will You open my calloused heart
and lead me by the hand?
I hear no one comforts the soul
quite like You can.
I'm so lost, found, and then I'm lost again
Falling in this world's sorrows
that never seem to pose an end.
Give me Your hands, lend me Your feet
for I refuse to leave this place -
until Your purpose for my life is complete.
I'm so lost I find, I'm lost in Your grace again...
Your compassion and mercy
fall over me each day with no end.
And I find there is no better place to be
than lost, found, and lost again
in the grace, love, and mercy
which I've found only in Him.
