TITLE: Made Perfect By Laura-Jane Martin 12/08/07 |
|
Softly whispering my name,
You took away my guilt,
You took away my shame.
You washed me in Your Spirit,
Cleansing me from my sin,
Showing me love and compassion,
Healing me from the places I’ve been.
Loving me with such an undeserved love,
Your grace and your Mercy,
Falling from the heavens above.
Staying so near when I was so far,
Turning my back on your perfect ways,
I took advantage of the Maker of the moon and stars,
My God who separated night from day.
Your eyes are like flame of fire,
Your feet of burnished bronze,
Yet through your magnificence,
For my heart your spirit longs.
Your love is so deep,
Deeper than my words can explain,
I’ve been made perfect,
By You, the lamb that was slain.
