Thank you Lord
For all You have done
For eternal life
Through You’re only son

For this land of freedom
We celebrate
This land of plenty
So good and so great

We thank you Lord
This Thanksgiving Day
For all the blessings
You send our way

For the food on the table
For family and friends
For being with our soldiers
Until the war ends

For all that we are
For all we can be
Give us the eyes
So we may see

Spiritual eyes
To see who you are
To know you are here
Though near or far

Thank you Lord
For the comfort you give
Just knowing your there
Makes it easy to live

To know you’ve gone
To prepare a place
Makes me long even more
To see your face

That glorious day
Makes this life worth while
For one day we’ll see
You’re wonderful smile

Until that time
Give us peace in this place
Keep your hand upon us
Show us your grace

Give us strength
To tarry here
By knowing that day
Is oh so near

May we share your love
With all we meet
Till we all get to heaven
For you to greet

And when the roll is called
I’ll know my name is there
I’ll take my final flight
With your angles in the air
