TITLE: Glare By roj miedes 05/24/07 |

My face contorted
And forced to bow down
Not much because
of the glaring afternoon sun that
taunts my weak eyes
and tried to slap the color
back in my pallid, uncovered face
but because of the
silent contempt that
I saw, in shadows,
in the eyes
of a friend I lost
by staring too much
to the sky.
