TITLE: Pray, then Pray some more By kathleen palma 02/23/07 |

Let the war of the worlds be known,
what is invisible to the eyes.
The scream of all the casualties,
their horrid unheard cries.
To the heavens they cry for hope,
salvation for their souls.
forgiveness for iniquities,
to free the evil hold.
They were unaware when they lost the battle,
taken like a theif in the night.
unarmed souls unprepared,
unable to win the fight.
Their faith was weak,
caught up in the world.
unable to see the light,
in blindness they freely walked,
denying their God given right.
The power of prayer, our sword and
our shield, holds the might
of God our hands.
to trample over the enemy, fullfilling
Gods heavenly plan.
So scream to the heavens for the souls
that are lost, and pray for the souls
that can't see. our voices are one
when we pray to the son,
for all of the souls to be free.
Constant prayer is where our strength
lies the power to open the door.
for when in darkness we fall look
to the light and pray
then pray some more.
The cries to heaven are not in vain.
on this we can be sure
though it may appear many battles are lost
we will not lose this war.
