TITLE: THE PRESCRIPTION

How do we as Christians offer healing to those whom have not accepted Christ as their Savior? I believe that Christ has provided the prescription that we as Christians are to prescribe to the lost.
Through out history children have always managed to receive abrasions to their knees and hands, fracture their arms and legs, lacerations to their face, legs, arms, and any other exposed area, and they even manage to brake off those beautiful new two front teeth. Parents run to their children's aid and scoop them up in their arms, kiss away their pain and dry their tears. They then are taking these children to physician’s offices or to the emergency room where medical staff cleanse their wounds, place cast on their fractures, suture their lacerations, offer the children a sticker for their bravery and a prescription for pain. The children then go home and receive a lot of extra attention from their parents for their battle wounds and feel love and secure in the fact that their parents will always be there to make everything all better. Then as the children grow into adults and venture out they receive fractures, lacerations, to their hearts. They feel the pain of rejection and some become harden and cold to others. Their parents can not kiss this pain away or dry their tears like they did when they were younger.


In the medical field, I have heard a lot of people cry out in pain and say please make the pain stop. With all the medical advancements we can offer numerous treatments and medications to help ease and heal the physical pain. I used to think that God used me to offer a comforting word, a smile, or a silent prayer to someone while we on the medical team tended to this person's physical wounds. I am not a doctor and therefore can not write prescriptions or can I? Well I can write a prescription and I have been called to do so. In fact we all have been called to write this same prescription. You can find that calling in John 20: 20-23. God called us to be Physicians of God's prescription for healing. You do not have to be in the medical field to write this prescription, you just have to be a born again Christian following God. You can offer this prescription to a co-worker, a friend, a family member, a neighbor, a stranger, or a child. The following is the prescription:


Physician: Jesus Christ

Patient: Anyone whom is hurting, carrying a heavy burden, is lost,
feels lost, afraid, and scared.

Address: Physical Residence Does Not Matter

Date of Birth: The day you take this prescription.

Allergies: It does not matter, this prescription will heal anything.


Rx: Seek forgiveness for your sins and accept Jesus Christ as Your Savior. The moment you do that then a peace will come upon you and you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, whom shall begin to cleanse your wounds and heal you. Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. When you are hurting he will comfort you and protect you. He will always love you unconditionally. He is always available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you will take this prescription, fill it and take it, I promise you he will cure you, he has healed me and I am Free.
