A tribute to the man whom I was privelaged to called daddy. He passed away this April two weeks after my grandmother.
DADDY,

Did you know that God worked through you to teach me about?

His unconditional love

His mercy

His forgiveness

How to love others

How to serve others

How to pray

How to take a stand for my beliefs

How to give of myself when someone else needs me

How to walk with and through another person’s illness, holding their hand

How other people are a gift in my life

How to cast all my cares on Him

How to continue trusting in Him, no matter what circumstances I am facing

How to turn the other cheek

How that I can not out sin, His forgiveness

To love some one so much that when the time comes, you are willing to return that person to Him.

To die with peace and hope

To know that one day I will see you again
