TITLE: Days Of Our Lives By Linda L Creech 10/07/06 |
|
How lovely to be blest
with buttered rays of sun
dripping on tortoise shells
as they slowly transport
light into the shadows.
I watch ghost blowing
wind-paths through
Locust trees, while
Mourning doves grieve
their mantra over and over.
Sunsets
splash rainbows across
the inky shroud of night
and so begins and ends
the days of our lives.
