Find your identity in your Creator, not in His creations.
Break free from the rejection of another,
And cling to acceptance.

Turn away from the carbon-copies,
And hold onto independence.

I am one, unique, and whole;
I meet my Maker's standards.

Don't expect me to be perfect;
Don't mold me into another.

I need to be carefree,
To have freedom from expectations.

There's no need for my life's approval,
No need for synchronization of our days.

My Lord will keep me company.
Everything without Him. . .
Is temporary, ordinary, mediocre.
