In the darkest hour
my heart cries to my Lord.
In the darkest night
I plead for His light.
Please my Savior
lover of my soul,
lead me and guide me
and make Your will known.
I can’t live this life without You.
I can’t sing a note without You.
My life totally depends on You.
Please my Father, take my hand
and lead me through green pastures
on the way to Your throne.
Light my way, shield my eyes
from the darkest night I’ve ever known.
