TITLE: Cry By Donna Lyn Chua 07/11/06 |

I. I am young, don’t know what to say
So scared I’ll make mistakes
and hear them say I’m but a fool
But You say You’ll give me words
And I’ll do fine… yet
My pride is shaking
My heart is breaking
I hear, “fool!”
I can’t help but cry
I see hate,
Their disdain is eating every ounce of my resolve
So I cry and I ask You, Father let me cry in Your arms
Afterwards let me stand, strong, in Your promises trust
II. I’m still young, my experiences few
I’m afraid I haven’t been
As studious as I should’ve been
Though You say You’ll give me words
And I’ll do fine… yet
My sin is screaming
My faith is failing
I hear, “fool!”
I can’t help but cry
I see hate,
Their disdain is eating every ounce of my resolve
So I cry and I ask You, Father let me cry in Your arms
Afterwards let me stand strong, in Your promises trust
