TITLE: Prayers

 SEND ARTICLE TO A FRIEND
Prayers are answered in the most subtle ways.
Some are obvious and some are not.
Some come quickly and others take time.
Those that come quickly, we marvel and rejoice.
Those that take time, we start to doubt ourselves,
and sometimes even God.
Is He listening?
Have I done something wrong?
Why doesn’t He answer?
We get so tied up in our one prayer
not being answered right away
that we quickly forget those that are.
Maybe it’s to let us know
that He is God and we are His servants
and that He is not ours.
If we are answered every time we ask,
maybe we will start taking advantage
of His answers.
And just maybe, He has a reason
for not answering.
Maybe something else has to take place
before we can receive our answer.
Whatever the reason may be, time and silence
can be a very hard thing to overcome.
Until then, keep praying and enjoy the answers
He has given.
Thank you Lord Jesus,
we humble ourselves unto you.
