just couldn't resist writing this one....the power of moment probably works.......
The other day, my father and I, though rarely, somehow reached to the discussion of ideologies of Hitler, Chankya and Napoleon. The most engrossing and self-obsessed among them seemed to be those of Napoleon. He says- the best way to succeed in life is to- ‘promise everything, deliver nothing’. Pondering over it and scrutinizing it later on, I, now dare to contradict him. He believed- promise everything, deliver nothing but I wonder why can't it be the other way round? ‘Promise nothing, deliver everything’. Why show the people your sense of selfishness rather than your sense of selflessness? And anyways, surprises are always entertained. Do not say anything and just enjoy the show till the time you can and when it is the time for action, go for it. I may seem to be too optimistic with my ideologies but I believe fake promises can lead to hostility and breaking up of knots (which may be mended but cracks still remain there).
