My Father framed this sphere of blue,
And bathed the world in loving hue.
The earliest streaks of blushing dawn,
The seamless wonder of dainty fawn,
The stately grandeur of mountain peak,
The vivacious flow of woodland creek,
The azure brilliance of cloudless sky,
The delicate wings of butterfly,
The tranquil stillness of moonlit night,
The majestic wings of soaring kite,
The graceful habit of rambling vine,
The imposing view of lofty pine,
Show forth the love of His tender hand,
The fathomless love He brought to man.
When on the cross His Son was slain,
That life eternal we might gain.
My lips shall sing of His mighty love,
Here below and in my home above.
