My whole life
A journey I was on
Sometimes light, mostly dark
There was Gods whisper in my ear

Days came and went
Often life stood still
Sometimes fast, mostly slow
There was Gods whisper in my ear

Many trips down memory lane
The path of least resistance
Of pain, agony and defeat
There was Gods whisper in my ear

Louder and louder the whisper became
As deeper and deeper I sank
And as I reached the precipice
The whisper wasn't the same

The whisper now became a voice
And said - please come to me
You've called my name - been true
For I am the one who all along has guided you

And to this place I've found myself
Where peace and joy reside
All had to do was answer
Gods whisper deep inside
