The lone star in the darkest of night
shines bright
The nation has forgotten who they are
For we are merely just the morning star
Not the sun by far
As darkness seems to last so long
The morning star shines and the darkness soon will be gone
Wait for it, Watch for it, Long for it
Don’t start to wonder “where is it?”
When Christ was born the star was there
Reflecting his majesty into the nights air
Three kings traded for one
He comes again to see what we have done
The light of his countenance will burn brighter on our faces as he approaches
To all who burn brightest at night ¡Buenos notches’!
Ride it out for darkness will turn to dawn
You are the only light left, shine or all will be gone
Hold fast as the day nears
No more darkness no more tears
His power, Our resurrection, is not far
Stand fast, for you are the lone star
