This is actually a song I wrote, that I thought I might submit as a poem. Geared towards those of us who suffer from prodical son syndrome. Don't worry, I've returned home for good. ; )
Have I forgotten,
How good you are to me?
So trapped between,
Who I am and who I want to be.
It’s been a while since we talked,
I’m somewhere between a nightmare and a dream.
The sun keeps pushing through the clouds,
I see your rainbow it reminds me….

Broken promises, spoken long ago.
Empty promises, I’m dying inside.
I am broken, fill the void.
Come and save me, take all my life.

Just want to get back what we had,
Don’t want to go it all alone.
I’m holding on the my first love,
And letting go of all I know.
You put a song in my heart,
I want to hear it all the time.
Take not your spirit from me,
Wanna walk the way in truth and light.

Have I forgotten, how good you are to me?
