The man who used to be blind
Looked up to a
Beautiful blue sky,
Smiling as a robin flew by.
“Glory to God!” he shouted aloud.
“Thank You, Jesus, I see!”
The man who used to be lame
Danced all day.
From morning till night,
He danced with all his might.
“Glory to God!” he shouted aloud.
“Thank You, Jesus, I walk!”
The man who used to be deaf
Said, “Listen to this!”
As he picked up his harp and played.
“Glory to God!” he shouted aloud.
“Thank You, Jesus, I hear!”
As the deaf played his harp,
The lame danced to the tune,
And the blind beheld the glory of God.
