A poor man's dispised and his words go unheard
to some he is foolish, to others upsurd
He sits and he wonders, will he get the chance
because money brings honor, prestige, and romance
One day he will fly to the east side of Rome
Leonardo,Michealangelo, this place was their home
At a moonlit caf'e , oh what does he see
A vision of beauty just ordered chabli
Now there together, and hear comes the toast
Angels were their waiters, and God was the host!
He looks in her eyes and says,I love you so much
Poor man got excited and woke himslf up
with a rock still his pillow,
and the earth still his bed
no wealth nor prestige,and still he lacks bread
these words to the poor man for God loves you too
because not long ago I was a poor man like you.
