A Jewel in Your Hand

By the work of your Spirit O Lord,
You have made me - a golden jewel of life
Created by your breath
And purified in your fire.

Oh, how I long to be a golden chain
That would always grace your neck
And to be a pendant ever ready to do your will.

Here am I, in the palm of your hand
Waiting for the outpouring of your Spirit
On the jointed links of my life
So I could be set free and released
To the glory of your name.

Yet, you Are the chain around His neck, you Are the pendant He wears.

You Are the outpouring of God's Spirit, simply because you wrote His words!And YOU chose to share them!

In other words, you Are His channel.
