Faith

Can you see my Jesus,
the way He comes to me.
Arms outstretched and calling,
the broken unto Thee.

Some times He just holds me,
often with no words,
but those He whispers in my heart,
are the sweetest ever heard.

Often He just watches,
nothing goes amiss.
so familiar, the ways of man,
betrayal by a kiss.

Once I heard Him call my name,
He said,'Why are you crying?
I promise things will be O.K.
Even for the dying.'

Sometimes I feel Him brush my cheek
breathe upon my face
reminding me for whom I stand,
the need for Holy Grace.

and when I beg forgiveness,
He smiles and draws me in.
Raises me to stand,
and lifts my chin,
to look at Him.

I see a man upon a Cross.
who gave His Life for me,
Unconditionally Loving,
even that I fail to see.

None of us are perfect,
everyone in sin.
Yet still He comes ,
with arms outstretched,
to draw His own to Him.
