Facing an empire
I depend on God’s fire
I face the liar half of my day
But I thank the Lord that I can pray
Praying the palms calms me down
Praying the way David prayed
Helps me cope…
Praying with an anointing
Shows me my purpose so
I am grateful for the psalms
Because it calms me down
Prayer is my key
Jesus is the one that set me free
On my knees I pray the psalms
Disarming an empire because that fool is a liar
God wants a change so I declare
His way while praying the psalms
