Just like a song, just like a melody
You are the music of my life
One sacrifice raised on a symphony
You always knew I played a part
A chorus of angel’s voices carries me away
To the place I belong
To the place I belong
Smoke in my eyes grays out my sense of things
You are the Truth that clears my sight
Gray turns to blue with new hope tomorrow brings
You move the clouds away with Your light
No more tears of sadness; no more rainy days
In the place I belong
In the place I belong
I’m like a child
Searching for stability in a world gone wild
Thought that I was overboard, that I was too far gone to save
Until You came
And showed me the way, you made me whole again
Filled the void my soul had acquired
I’ve found a home I can escape to now
Where I find rest when I get tired
And there I will fall before You, All hail my Christ, my King
You’re the place I belong
