The Quickest Way Out Of Here
Is A One Way Ticket To Hell

In II Peter 2:1-4, it teaches us that either we will follow God or not follow Him. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that brought them, and being upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you; whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.

We can follow Christ the right way or the wrong way. We can become a false prophet, speak evil of the truth, and make merchandise of God’s people which is the wrong way or we can speak the truth out of a pure heart, be real in our relationship with God and man and lift up worthy praise to God and draw men to Him. In our exploration of life we come to know it in a natural way, which there are good and bad among us to choose. Our exploration in life is usually met with wrong before we come to know right. When a child is born in the world, his first word is usually “no”. He don’t realize that he is to say no to all that is wrong, he says it to what is right also. Now as he grows he learn the difference in yes and no. As Christians we as the people of God must learn to say no to everything that is not like God. We have rules and guidelines to follow also which is named in the Word of God. We should learn to follow the Word and what it says we are to do.

However on the other side of the coin is when we choose to say yes to wrong and no to right. The world is in this state now of everything goes and no one is offended. Never in life have we heard of so much stuff going on. Every time the television is turned on it teaches wrong and waivers the mind of some child or even adults into doing what is being portrayed on it. People of God thirty five years ago prophetically spoke of the deadly evil that the television would become. Even the Word of God has been washed down to appease the flesh of men. So what if you lose the support of men, you would still be in right standing with God. If you please man and not God, you are on your way to hell and your ticket cost you nothing but your disobedient life. People put their children in front of the television where they don’t have to bother with them, but what are you teaching them? You still have a responsibility to that child and God to train them up in the way that they are to go. Responsibility is not easily dodged, wherever it lies and in whosoever hands it is placed. Because man chooses wrong over right the whole world is in chaos and they must choose to return to God. God makes things right in our life when we choose to be moved by His Spirit.

Being moved by the Holy Ghost, the holy men of God spoke. Many today do not wait on their calling less alone wait on the Holy Ghost leading and guiding so they become a false prophet. A false prophet is one that is not real, says what man wants to hear rather than what God says and they will sell and prostitute their gift for riches (the Bible calls filthy lucre). They will lie to people and the people love it so, because it is what they want to hear. They pretend to be inspired of the true God and some even pretend to be inspired of a false god. Jesus warned us against false prophets and foretold of their coming in Matthew 24:11. When you the child of God go and repeat what a false prophet tells you it makes you a false witness. We are taught not to bear false witness against our neighbor, raise a false report, not to swear falsely or testify falsely. Deuteronomy 19:16-20, if a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong, then both the men between whom the controversy is shall stand before the Lord, before the priest and the judges, which shall be in those days. And the judges shall make diligent inquisition and behold, if the witness be a false witness and hath testified falsely against his brother, then shall you do unto him as he had thought to have done unto his brother; so shall thou put the evil away from among you and those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you. Even we have to make the choice to pull ourselves away from wrongdoing. To him that no to do right and do it not, it is sin. False witnesses will lay things to your charge that you know nothing about. They will proudly lie to have innocent blood shed upon your good name. While you are resting in the Lord, they will devise wicked imaginations in their heart towards you and swiftly run to tell someone else just like what they are saying is true.

The world says “seeing is believing” and the Gospel says “believing is seeing”. Faith expels fear. It is the true anesthesia of the soul. Fear becomes dead to men of faith and the knife may cut without hurting. What damns man is their lack of faith because faith is the beginning and love is the end of life. Ignatius puts it like this “faith is the guide and love is the road that leads to God”. Westcott says “faith never puts the crown upon her own head; Christ crowns faith because faith crowns him” Faith and hope of the Christian reaching their eternal resting place is not looked at as different because they both looks forward to the future. Faith looks over the horizon, sees the things of the future, makes them real, and brings them to ones feet. Hope looks over the horizon, sees the things of the future, makes them real and leaves them in the future or make the difference between them still plainer. Faith takes a step toward them while hope stands still. Faith is active, hope is passive, faith lifts us into fellowship with the unseen, while hope is the confident anticipation of a future regarded as future; faith appropriates that future as an experience of the present.

We must also have ethics, morally and religiously. Ethics are not religiously moral some think. Moral obligations are binding because God emanated them. They were the revelation of God’s divine will. Christians have pledged their lives to turn from immoral to moral, from wrong to right, from untruthful to truth, from false to real, and from unjust to just. They accept God as everything and vow to keep his commandments and laws that are set there to measure their obedience. True believers will try everything within them to please God and do his will rather than arouse his anger. Ecclesiastes 12:13, let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.

The quickest way out of here with a one way ticket to hell is to be false, live false and die false. The real prophet teaches the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. They teach of the tings they have heard from Heaven, that what we hear is a more sure word of prophecy we receive from God.

Jesus the Word lived among us as a man but we knew it not. The Disciples had Jesus but did not know who he was. We also handle him and he do not know us.
