Dare not to think that truth
Can be eluded or detained forever
For truth shines light into darkness
Its purpose is to remain.

God even chose the divine ordinance
Of hail to sweep away the refuge of lies
So lies are powerless
To the unveiling of truth.

Truth is absolute
You may try to elude it
But only a season will that endure
For truth must have its way
Of that you can be sure.

Untruth is confusion and chaos
Just a house of sinking sand
With no foundation to stand
Against the power of truth.

Truth will prevail from one
Generation to the next
Those who try to stifle it
Find a vain chore of regret.
