Shiny and sparkly
Enticing, it’s true
A storybook life
in a world without You.
Fortunes and Fame and Friendships galore,
Part of a plan to derail me for sure.
But your path is narrow
And your way is right
And even in times when it’s not in my sight,
My footing is sure when I walk with you,
So that is the thing that I choose to do.
The world offers much – too much to be told,
But the truth is,
It’s nothing but Fool’s Gold
