Ministers of God need to tell the truth. They need to know, without any doubt ,what they believe,and stand firmly by it. Sin is sin is sin. If it's homosexuality, drunkeness, greed, envy, or murder it's still sin. Sin is whatever seperates you from God. God is not wishy-washy, God does not straddle fences. Ministers of God will stand before Him someday and will have to answer for the way they've guided their flocks and preached to the world.
The world is in trouble now, because of Ministers who preach a watered down Gospel, their failure to teach the truth, and their willingness to compromise with and conform to the world.
Jesus Christ never repimanded sinners, but did reprimand so-called men of God who had "watered down" His law. Jesus didn't hem and haw, and say er, well, I think . . . He told them the truth and if it offended the people, that was their problem.
Does the world today even know what true Christianity is? Most don't, because of people who claim to be Christians and claim Godliness, but deny the power thereof. They preach popular opinions, they're afraid to offend, or they're afraid they won't be liked. People tend to gather around them those that tickle the ears and give them false comfort. They want preachers who preach what they want to hear. True comfort comes from One Source. True Joy and Peace comes from that One Source, the Holy One of Israel.
Jesus said to the Christian, "you will be hated for My Name's sake." If you preach the truth you will be hated. If you are loved by the world, then, you must be part of that world.
Greed for bigger churches, more money,and popularity is NOT Christianity. Those are sins, they are guilty of the sins of pride and avarice. A religion mixed with hate, prejudice, and haughtiness is NOT Christianity. A true Christian not only believes that Christ lived, died, and was raised from the dead, but they follow Him in every aspect. They strive to be like Christ. They try to love and forgive as Jesus did and does. Christianity doesn't come from a booklet, but from the true Word of God. A true Christian knows and confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord.
