It knows you're there
The thing I am
I am a thing and I am sad
Sad but I know, you know it, you're there

You're there and desirable
Sensual and so
"So so" am I, so the temptation goes
Goes, but desire, that is _God's_ there

So it is that I see in new light
Lit lightly lifely, so were you I'd swear
Swear, I did but... then
There's a God who cares there

God who is terrible
And awful and kind
God who knows me mysteriously
And knows my mind

"It"... "You're".... "So it"... "God"?
I've thought about these words a lot
There where I've thought about you
Quite a lot too, to a point a lot

But the thing is
I know I've got to stop
Stop the temptation
That stops me, and leaves me lost...
...there

That's why I think of God
Terrible and awful and desiring me blind
Sensitized and horrible, knowing my mind
Knowing the truth, of a terrible time

A terrible time...
Despite all our desire
When he will ravage the church
Mad with the Liar

So you see, I know desire
I have a Father who knows true fire
None will survive
Not the last (survivor)

Then it will be God
The desire all His
And the way that I cheated Him
He... He will simply miss

I warn you don't laugh
Its not funny: things burn
The pornography it has seen...
