The Rainbow
God sends the gentle shower
To wash away your tears
Your arid soul to nourish
Thirsting through the years.
He sends the summer sunshine
It’s warmth for you to feel
To give you hope undaunted
Your wounded spirit heal.
And then He sends the rainbow
His blessing from above
To tell you of His promise
His Covenant of Love.
