RESURRECTION

This is a continuation of my previous article "The Crown of Thorns".

Jesus' body has been laid in the tomb. His loved ones and disciples go to their homes grieving, thinking "It is all over"..."what just happened"...they had already forgotten in their sadness what Jesus had told them that HE would rise again.

If you recall, the trials, the beatings, the crucifixion was all done publicly, but the resurrection took place privately. The scriptures tell us that when Jesus was raised from the dead that there were many who had died and been buried, were also resurrected and walked among those that knew them prior to their death. What a day that must have been!

My thoughts: When one is living the worldly life it is done publicly and all around that person knows. When a person accepts, receives Jesus as Lord and Savior, it is usually a private affair between that individual and God. That person is resurrected from death to life.

I am continuing to meditate on this.

Think about it.
