To think of what would happen

And missing the chance to be proud

Sitting in the corner
And not having the chance

But now that I think of it
I think God smiled down on me
Cause there was sunlight shining down on you
When you first came to me

I never will know how I met you
I never will know why I met you
But I will always remember that I loved you
From the first time

Some people never had the chance
Before they blew it all away
But I guess I was lucky
To have met you that day

There’s no words in this world
To describe what I feel inside
The feeling that I get
When you tell me hi

Every morning you sit there
Just waiting for me
And when I round the corner
You just smile at me

I wouldn’t chance the world
Even if I could
Except that everyone had a friend
Just like you

Someone to talk to
When you’re feeling low
Or someone’s shoulder
When your heart’s broken down

I don’t know how to explain it
I don’t know how to tell you
Just how much I saw in you
That wonderful day

I wish that you’ll never forget me
And that we’ll always be friends
And that our friendship will go on and on
Until one of us hits the end

Never change who you are
