Oh loving Father, Abba,
Please hear my prayer today.
I'm feeling lost and fearful...
Like a child that's lost its way.
Change has overcome me.
I am on uncharted land.
I truly seek Your Will, Oh God,
Please take my outstretched hand.

The familiar path has faded..
Now I wander where I will.
Speak, Lord, as I listen.
I need Your guidance still.
My heart, it aches with hunger.
My spirit's growing weak,
As I wonder where I'm headed
My hope seems dim and bleak.

Though my heart has sought Thee
From the days of purest youth,
The paths that I have traveled
Have often been obtuse.
Forgive me for my willfulness
When I chose to go my way.
Thank you, God, for loving me,
And protecting me each day.

Oh sweet, merciful Master,
Please hear my prayer today.
I'm feeling lost and fearful...
Like a lamb that's gone astray.
Oh, Loving Father, Abba,
All I am cries out for Thee.
Speak now, My Lord, I beg you...
Reveal Your Self to me.
Amen.
