"Rise Again"

no money for pizza
no money for cars
there's nothing left in the bank that is ours
no money for movies
no money for socks
since we lost our savings in investments and stocks

so light up a candle
so turn out the lights
we cannot afford your toys and your kites
so buy stuff on credit
so dig us deep in
how many generations will pay for your sin?

bail out the big banks
bail out the big cars
use all of your money that really is ours
bail out big business
bail out CEOs
how much can you spend? i'm afraid no one knows

grab power in finance
grab power in health
laugh on late night tv in your wealth
grab power in politics
grab power in vain
sooner or later WE THE PEOPLE will rise again!
