HI Friend,

I was just reflecting the other day on the theme of Christmas and below is just an excerpt of the thoughts that engaged my mind...For the deatailed proceedings of this all-intriguing chat with the Ruse,you'll need to go back to the Garden of Eden to eavesdrop on the chat Satan had with Eve;thereafter,you'll need re-visit the first court session where Adam was his own attorney;you'll have to cringe at the pronouncement of the judgement by The Almighty God on the couple that committed treason as well as Satan the chief culprit who decieved the convicted couple:

Amidst the judgement was a clause: The SON of the condemned woman will bruise the head of satan!

And from that day,God began to orchestrate events,well rehearsed by both ,experienced and ,rookie/amateur actors and actresses to show case the master melodrama of life,nay ,man's destiny on earth titled," The Way Of Salvation". Among the many auditioned artists were prostitutes,stammerers,fugitives and gangsters,wicked rulers and villains,slaves,the smug of society,lily-livered leaders,warriors,peasants,men and women of royalty,nobles and kings,clergy men and atheists,fishermen,conmen,writers,zealots,farmers,carpenters,..the list is endless.

Each played his/her role with utmost perfection yet oblivious of the role of the other artists.Unlike popular Hollywood films and movies,each actor's role was part of his real-life experiences and daily life on earth which was screened of pretense and subjectivity common to men.Unknown to each player,they all played their roles as scripted by the Executive Producer,and Arch-Artist,who created the heavens and the entire cosmos...God Almighty!

The actors/actresses did not face indimidation nor harrassment, and neither were they short-changed as each was given his/her part according to their innate ability and capability.The movie shooting was done in several locations in different parts of the world: from Middle East, to Asia,Europe, Africa and interestingly the prologue of the film has been running since it was first premiered at a serene but unpopular open-air theatre in Bethlemen of Judea,deep in the enclave of Palestine.

The few privileged audience at the show included peasant shepherds, awe-struck sheep , some wise men, and angels: Stars watched from above as the lead actor,then a liitle child from heaven, was wrapped in swaddling cloths in a manger.His face shown with sublime brightness,his teeth glistened with brightness and a halo of splendour and glory shrouded him like a cloak.

Angels marvelled,they watched in wonder.The shepherds were enthused by the glorious voices of the angelic choir.The sheep moped and gazed in awe.The stars glared in worship of the Child-King and escorted the wise men from afar who groped for the source of the enlightement that dawned in their hearts....But the whole world slept and missed this premier show of the Drama of Salvation.

And for this I WONDER.......!!!!!!





I wonder what would have happened to all men

If Jesus Christ was never born in Bethlehem

I wonder what would have become of men

If there never was a Jesus,who became the Christ

I wonder what would have become the lot of men

If he chose to stay in heaven and enjoy the splendour of his kingdom

I wonder what would become of those stars that twinkled

I wonder what would have happened to that angelic choir that sang

I wonder if ever the poor shepherds would watch a classic movie in their lifetime

But he did come down after the surjourn in the womb of Virgin Mary



I wonder how long Simon Peter would have fished

to become a man of influence and authority

I wonder what would have become of blind Bartimeaus

He would not have seen the flowers or men all his life

I wonder what would have happened to the dead men and women

Whom Jesus raised from the dead while he walked on earth

I wonder what would have happened to Mary Magdalene

Who was found guilty of satisfying the lustful passion of men

I wonder what would have happened to all the folks

With incurable diseases whom he healed free of charge

I wonder what would have happened to the Hopeless

whom he gave hope and reason to live for each day

I wonder what would have become of the condemned thief on the cross

Whom he promised a mansion in his kingdom inspite of his many vices

I wonder what would have become of man on earth if Jesus was never born????





But because he was born,history changed,dates changed and today we have our calendars marked AD 2003 which implies,"anno domini"...the year of our lord,Jesus Christ! Every other history recorded before he was born is credited as " BC"..or before the birth of Christ.This is the reason for the season.This is the reason for the santa claus,the trees and all the pomp.

Let's not lose it's worth.It cost so much to produce this classic real life movie of destiny!
