I am yours

Lord, you call me for your own
A gift more precious I've never known
For I was lost and all forlorn
And now I face a brand new dawn.

I am yours and yours alone
No more do I complain or moan
For I have peace and joy within
To counteract this world of sin.

I am yours, I am your child
I follow Jesus meek and mild.
I am yours forever more
Knowing this makes my spirit soar.

A child of God I'll always be
Because you loved and wanted me
I did not earn this blessing Lord
You gave it of your own accord.

For you are faithful, good and just
In you I'll ever put my trust.
Your mercy saved this sinner lost
I know it was at a great cost.

Your Son he took my guilt away
Died on the tree that Easter Day.
He rose again to be for men
An advocate till He comes again.

He will reign as King on high
All the righteous will never die.
We will reign with him forever
I am yours, we'll be together.
