I go down on my knees,
For praying with my pleas;
To the Almighty Lord
Our Father adored.

And I pray from the heart,
On the day at the start;
For all that He has done,
Especially His Son.

Our faith makes us strong,
With power to prolong;
So we can persevere,
When truly are sincere.

His glory is the wealth,
For the spiritual health;
That our soul does need,
To do as He decreed.

As desires and thoughts,
Will not be sinful blots;
That my faith will endure,
No matter of the lure.

So I pray from the heart,
That faith will not depart;
Rooted and based in love,
In full measure thereof.
