When your boss ticks ya off
and you're biting at the bit
Stop burning red with anger,
dig deep into your GRITS...

Is
The
Solution

When you're feeling down 'n out
and start thinking 'bout a fix
Put away that old you
and help yourself to GRITS

God

Is

Solution

When your spouse don't understand
and you're having hissy-fits
Take hold of each other
and serve each other GRITS

God
Really
Is
The
Solution

When the bottle's on your mind
and you're afraid that you can't quit
Turn your thoughts to Jesus
and enjoy the taste of GRITS

Solution

If you're struggling with lust
and you feel you can't resist
Look 'way from that temptation
and dive into the GRITS

God
Really
Is
The
Solution

If the money's drying up
and you've spent most every bit
Trust in His provisions
as you savor in the GRITS

God
Really
Is
The
Solution

If your past is burying you
and you can't get out the pit
Call for Grace and Mercy
and focus on your GRITS

God
Really
Is
The
Solution

Get this in your thinking,
no matter how life gets,
GRITS are here forever,
so accept that in your wits;
You may not understand
and wonder what it is,
But take it for it's Goodness,
and acquire a taste for GRITS!
