The precision accuracy and timing for flight demonstrations is no piece of luck! Pilots chosen to be a part of “ The U.S. Navy Blue Angels” live lives of discipline and grueling practice. For a pilot to be wrong about distance or off a second on their synchronized timing, could be fatal for themselves, other pilots, or the crowd below.

My husband, Norm had a position as Program Director at radio station KONO, San Antonio in the mid 1980's. “The Blue Angels” were performing and he was given the rare opportunity to ride along in one of the jets! The amazing thing is that he is afraid of heights! He feels weak kneed in tall buildings, on bridges, and mountain roads, yet he is not afraid to fly! Before his ride he was forewarned by his plot that at one point he would lose conscientiousness; and that was no scare tactic! He experienced the black out as warned! He placed his safety in the pilot, who made rolls, turns, and dives! He was brought back to solid ground with a story to tell

Do we have that complete trust and confidence in The Lord? He has forewarned us: “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world ( John 16:33).” Trouble will come. We can have courage and hope. Jesus has triumphed over evil!
