Like the misty rain falling at my feet,
I can feel the softness of Your heartbeat.

For with each beat, my stories told,
slowly my life begins to unfold.

The beating quickens and starts to pound,
I can sense Your love all around.

Memories of years gone on by,
darkens the blueness of the sky.

A thunderous sound suddenly erupts,
the darkening skies open up.

The rain begins to pour on down,
to the rhythm of Your heart sound.

A flash of light fills my eyes,
through the darkness, You hear my cries.

A flood of passion falls from above,
between each beat I begin to love.

With this knowledge the beating lightens,
the stormy skies begin to brighten.

The sun comes out and shed's His light,
I feel my heart giving up the fight.

The storm is over, a peaceful calm sets in,
I rest knowing . . . Jesus has taken away my sin.
