Oh my God! Can’t you see?

My arms and legs are broken
and I’m squirming in the mire.
The weight of earth has risen up
to swallow me whole.
I’m powerless to resist the strength
of gravity’s clinched fist.
My breaths are now but gasps.
My muscles have become relaxed.
The sun’s light is fading
and deliverance is out of sight.
Sheol is begging for my soul
to nourish its hungry palate.

Oh my God! Don’t you care?
