Must the world be pain free in order for there to be a God? Do we assume that God doesn't love us if we experience pain? If he loves us he would of created a perfect world without tragedy...well he did.

God blessed us with a paradise like world, but through one act of diobedience, we let loose the hounds of hell.

To ask the above question is like purchasing a brand new car, smashing it into a wall, and then asking the car manufacturer why they sold you a smashed car.

God longs to bless us. When King David sinned against God, God cried out through the prophet Nathan,"Then Nathan said to David, "I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. 8 I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more." (2nd samuel 12: 7)

David was blessed, and God would have blessed him even further, but he desired the one thing he shouldn't have, and brought pain to his household.

Adam and Eve were blessed with paradise, but the one thing they couldn't have they desired for the most, and were shunned from paradise.

God created perfection and blessings and all he desires is obedience. But we in our sinfullness desire all the wrong things and shut out God's blessings.

Now that we do have pain on this earth, what are we to have this loving God do? Eliminate the pain, well to eliminate the pain we must eliminate the cause of pain, which is us and our desirings of vain and wicked things. If all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, then to ask God to eliminate pain from the earth now would seal all our doom, we are the problem. God, as I've said before is not a moral relativist he hates all sin. We sin in behavior because we have sin in our nature, thus causing the worlds ills. So be carful what you wish for. God will not only eliminate murderers and rapists, he will eliminate liars, thieves, fornicators, etc...in short all of us.

But God had a better idea. He sent his only Son to die on the cross and take our punishment, so that we could be reconciled with God, and while we experience pain on earth, when we enter our loving fathers kingdom we will be happy," He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Rev 21:4)

To have this blessing is a free gift from God, all we need do is obey, which is to con fess our sins, repent of our sins, and accept the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Easy right, well many choose not this way...and unknowingly follow the way of Satan the prince of this world, and thus the pain continues, The Father blessed us with the gift of the life of his Son, but we desire everything else. Alas the pain continues. We are the pain our loving God is the Balm.
