I Must Wonder

In the last days
We know that things become a mess
Yet I must look at why
Could it be that we have become, useless?

We have fought many wars
Yet, what have we gained?
We have fought spiritual wars in the natural
So really what has been attained?

Many innocent people have died
Our financial system is falling apart
Could it be that we have missed the mark?
And allowed satan’s dart?

We don’t wrestle against flesh and blood
But the rulers of darkness and principalities
This is what is behind all of the havoc
That we have allowed too be

Will our eyes ever be opened?
Will we ever recognize our true enemy?
Or will the slaughter and destruction continue?
Because we mostly care about, “me”

If we really desire to see victory
Then back to prayer and warfare in the Spirit we must go
The Church must stand up
And throw away the pride, and self-ego

They must humble and pray
Till they get a breakthrough
And storm the gates of hell
Telling the devil what he must do

God gave to us the keys
And authority
So what will we do with them?
Give them back to the enemy?

It really is our choice
Whether we use God’s weapons of war
After all, why would God give them to us?
If they didn’t produce, what they were given for?

Until we can realize
That it is not about me
We will never know what God has in store
And will just go on in captivity.
