Where do I go from here,
When I can’t seem to find my way?
Darkness is all around me,
Turning to night what used to be my day.

Sleep eludes me
Life confounds me,
Peace erodes, but
Doubt and fear surround me…

Thoughts torment me – make them go away!

Then the voice whispers to my heart:
Bring the thoughts captive
Tie them and bind them.
Give them no place in your mind.

Set your mind on the beautiful
The lovely
The things of good repute
Whatever is pure, and right and lovely.
Let your mind dwell on these things.

Where do I go from here (to the throne)
When I can’t seem to find my way (You are the Way)
Darkness is all around me (but You are the Light).
You turn my mourning into laughter.
You set my heart aright.
