Stop The Rain

God brought me to this trial
To draw me closer to Him.
To remind me to look to Jesus
When circumstances are grim.

For it’s only in life’s problems
Comes a strength I do not hold.
He pours into me His power
I just watch His plans unfold!

When I sometimes want to give up
He says “Let Me take the lead.
You are worried and distressed
You must cast your cares on Me.”

Father, will the turmoil ever end….
For loved ones in such pain?
Please break hearts in repentance
They need You……to stop the rain.

This is exactly what so many in the Body of Christ are feeling these days. These trials are shaping us into what He designed for us to be, but the process is less that comfortable. Thank you so much for the way you allow the Holy Spirit to speak through your writing. Hugs. Mitzi
